I believe Mel Howard, Wha's real name is Howard Hicks, is still in broadcasting in Winnipeg Canada,

bit try as a micht a cannae fin oot wha he is wurkin fur. If ony o' yoos ken's ony mair than ah dae

gies a shout eh, cos ah wid like tae ken as weel.

An accomplished graphic artiste and cartoonist, born in Rosyth subsequently worked for Radio England and alongside Bob Harris at the B.B.C.. Just learned as I write this that he has passed away at the beginning of this month (March 2007)
